I've just had a play with Windows 7. It was running on a fairly old laptop which you wouldn't normally dare install Vista on. It worked fantastically well, and it made me think... this is what Vista should have been. Put simply it's got the stability and speed of XP with the GUI enhancements of Vista. Let's hope that there's no compatibility issues.
I'm still on XP, after installing Vista during the early months of it's release. Many others use Vista in the office and are constantly cursing it or finding that their previously fast machines now run slower, so I'm holding out for 7!
